Information sought

The appellant has lost his PLI passbook of Police NO. HY156737-CS has sent a letter for issuing duplicate passbook vide dispatch no. 1428 dated 22/11/2013. He has sought certain information regarding action taken on the abovesaid letter and other information related to issuance of duplicate passbook.

Grounds for the Second Appeal:

The CPIO has not provided the desired information.

The following were present Appellant: Absent Respondent: Mr. Deepak Kumar CPIO's representative though VC M: 09813076895 The CPIO's representative stated that the information requested by the appellant in his RTI application dated 06/03/2014 was supplied vide letter dated 15/04/2014 and his duplicate PLI passbook has also been issued on 09/04/2014. He further stated that it can be seen from the appellant's 2nd appeal that he is requesting for copy of PLI rules. He informed that the rules are displayed on the department's website www.indiapost.gov.in and the same has been intimated to the appellant. The appellant is not present for canvassing his case/contesting CPIO's representative submissions.

Decision notice:

From the CPIO's representative's submissions and after review of the appellant's RTI queries and reply thereto it is apparent that the relevant information has been provided.
