(2)The return shall be submitted, in triplicate, within the 31st day of July, 1971, to the Revenue Officer having jurisdiction in the area in which the lands or major portion thereof are situated:Provided that the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, extend the said time limit by such period as it may think fit.
