State of Punjab - Section

Section 3 in Punjab State Farmers and Farm Workers Commission Act, 2017

3. Constituion of the Commission.

(1)The Government shall, by notification in the Official Gazette, constitute a body to be known as the Punjab State Farmers and Farm Workers Commission to exercise the powers conferred upon and perform the functions assigned to it under this Act.
(2) The Commission shall consist of, -
  (a) Chairperson; : Non-official Member
  (b) A representative of Farm Workers ; : Non-official Member
  (c) Vice Chancellor, Punjab Agricultural University,Ludhiana; : Ex-officio Member
  (d) Vice Chancellor, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary andAnimal Sciences University, Ludhiana; : Ex-officio Member
  (e) Financial Commissioner (Development); and : Ex-officio Member
  (f) A serving or a retired officer, not below therank of the Secretary to Government of Punjab. : Member-Secretary
