- On and from the appointed day, in the Government of Union Territories Act, 1963,-(i)in clause (h) of sub-section (1) of section 2, for the words "Pondicherry and Arunachal Pradesh", the words "and Pondicherry" shall be substituted;(ii)in section 33, in sub-section (2), the proviso shall be omitted;(iii)in section 44, sub-section (2) shall be omitted.
