14. The Provost.
(1)The Provost shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor for such period and in such manner as may be prescribed by the Statutes.(2)The Provost shall ensure discipline in the University and shall keep the various unions of the teachers and employees advised of the various policies and practices in the University.(3)The Provost shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
