Section 32 in The Meghalaya Adaptation of Laws Order (No. 3), 1973
32. The Indian Registration Act, 1908 (16 of 1908). After Section 1, insert-
"1-A. Power to modify Act. It extends to Meghalaya with such exceptions or modifications as are in force :Provided that the Government of Meghalaya may, by notification direct that this Act shall apply in Meghalaya or any part thereof with such exceptions, restrictions and modifications, as may be specified in the notification".
