(1)The Finance Officer shall be a wholetime officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Executive Council on the recommendation of a Committee of the Vice-Chancellor as Chairman, two nominees of the Executive Council, a nominee of the Chancellor and a nominee of the State Government, for such period and on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by Statutes.
