51. Authority for certifying eligibility of claimants. -The authority which is to certify the eligibility of claimants shall be the appropriate 51 [Branch Office] in respect of maternity, sickness, temporary disablement benefit [benefits and funeral expenses and the appropriate Regional Office, in respect of permanent disablement and dependant's benefits].
