Section 8(1) in Tamil Nadu Land Improvement Schemes Act, 1959
(1)The Government may, for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act, constitute for the [State of Tamil Nadu] [Substituted for the words 'State of Madras' by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws Order, 1969, as amended by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws (Second Amendment) Order, 1969.] a Board called the [Tamil Nadu] [Substituted for the word 'Madras' by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws Order, 1969, as amended by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws (Second Amendment) Order, 1969.] Land Improvement Board.
