Section 24(1) in Kerala Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1976
(1)The Transport Commissioner may-a. suo motu call for and examine the record of any order passed by any authority or officer under this Act; orb. on application, call for and examine the record of any order passed in appeal under section 23,to satisfy himself as to the regularity of the proceedings or the correctness, legality or propriety of the order, and, if in any case it appears to the Transport Commissioner that the order shall be modified, annulled or remitted for reconsideration, he may pass such order thereon as he may deem fit.
