Section 52(1) in Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976
(1)Any person who at any election fraudulently takes or attempts to take a ballot paper [or voting machine] [Deemed to have been Inserted by Act 17 of 2009 w.e.f.28.5.2009.] out of a polling station or wilfully aids or abets the doing of any such act shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, or with both.
