(5)Not less than [half] [Substituted by C.G. Act No. 13 of 2008 (w.e.f. 23-5-2008).] (including the number of seats reserved for women belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes) of the total number of seats to be filled by direct election in every Janpad Panchayat shall be reserved for women and such seats maybe allotted by the prescribed authority by drawing lots and by rotation to different constituencies in a Janpad Panchayat in the prescribed manner :[Provided that the term of consecutive two general elections of Panchayat shall constitute one rotation.] [Inserted by C.G.
