Section 206 in The Naval Ceremonial, Conditions Of Service And Miscellaneous Regulations, 1964
206. Parchment Commission.
- On appointment as Sub-Lieutenant or in a higher rank or on promotion to the rank of a Commissioned Officer (Branch List), the name of the person concerned shall be submitted to the Government with a request for the Parchment Commission to be issued in his favour.
