Section 1 in The Criminal Law (Amendment) Ordinance, 1944
1. Short title, extent and commencement .(1) This Ordinance may be called The Criminal Law (Amendment) Ordinance , 1944.
(2)It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir and applies also to citizens of India outside India.(3)It shall come into force at once.
