Section 285H(3) in Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920
(3)On receipt of such appeal, the [State Government] [Inserted by the Tamil Nadu Municipal Laws (Amendment) Act, 2000 (Tamil Nadu Act 26 of 2000).] may, after making such inquiry as may be necessary and giving a reasonable opportunity to the appellant to be heard, pass such orders as it deems fit.
