(a)doing outside work requiring special courage, skill or initiative, such as -

(i)the arrest of a criminal; or

(ii)securing information leading to the detection of a crime or matters connectedtherewith; or

(iii)making exceptionally good inquiries; or

(iv)an encounter with a criminal in connection with protection and security of therailway property.
