Section 24 in Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Act, 2004
24. Repeal and saving.
(1)All rules, notifications and orders corresponding to the previsions of the Act shall, in so far as they are inconsistent with any provision of the Act, stand repealed.(2)Notwithstanding such repeal -(i)anything done or any action or any order issued under the rules, notifications or orders, so repealed, shall be deemed to have been done, taken or issued under the corresponding provisions of the Act;(ii)the reservation in appointment or promotion against available Vacancies and for admission in Professional Institutions provided under the repealed rules, notifications and orders, shall continue to be in force till a notification under the provisions of the Act is issued.
