Section 2(ii) in The Assam Secondary Education (Provincialisation) Act, 1977
(ii)"date of appointment" means in relation to any employee, the date on which he joined the service of a school imparting Secondary Education on and from the date of its coming under ad hoc system of grants-in-aid;
