Section 254(1)(d) in The Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats And Industrial Townships Act, 1965

(d)except when no other route is available, carry a corpse alongwith the any street carrying of corpses is prohibited by a public notice issued by the Council in this behalf;
