Section 460G(1) in The Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, 1888
(1)No building, wall or other structure shall be newly erected, and no street or minor railway shall be constructed over, or in such a manner as to interfere with, any work constructed or maintained for the purposes of the [Brihan Mumbai Electric Supply and Transport Undertaking] [These words were substituted by Maharashtra 25 of 1996, (w.e.f. 4.9.1996).] except with the written permission of the General Manager.
