Section 365(1) in The M.P. Municipal Corporation Act, 1956
(1)The Mayor or the Commissioner may authorise any person to enter into and inspect at any reasonable time, any market, building, shop, stall or place used for the sale of any goods, food, drink or drug and the person so authorised may inspect any instrument for weighing, weights, or measures found therein and test the same with standard weights and measures and may seize any such instrument for weighing, weight or measure which he reasonably believes to be false or not in accordance with bye-laws made by the Corporation under this Act, and may lake the same to be examined or tested by the officer appointed for the purpose.
