Section 26 in The West Bengal Slum Areas (Improvement And Clearance) Act, 1972

26. Repeal and savings.

(1)The West Bengal Slum Areas (Improvement and Clearance) Ordinance, 1972, is hereby repealed.
(2)Anything done or any action taken under the West Bengal Slum Areas (Improvement and Clearance) Ordinance, 1972, shall be deemed to have been validity done or taken under this Act as if this Act had commenced on the 25th day of January, 1971.
