(2)[ Where the Registrar is satisfied that for the purpose of altering the area of operations of a tenant farming society or for the purpose of improving the services rendered by it or for such other purpose as may be prescribed, an amendment of the by-laws is necessary, he may, after giving notice to the society in such manner as may be prescribed and after giving the society an opportunity of being heard, amend the by-laws.] [This sub-section was added by section 3(ii) of the Tamil Nadu Public Trusts Regulation of Administration of Agricultural Lands) Amendment Act, 1968 (Tamil Nadu Act 22 of 1968).]
