Section 19(1) in Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University Act, 2019
(1)The Governing Body shall consist of Chief Secretary to Government of Punjab, Administrative Secretaries of Department of Sports and Youth Services, Department of Finance and Department of Higher Education and the Vice-Chancellor as ex-officio members and such other members which may be prescribed by the Statutes. The Chief Secretary shall also be the chairperson of the Governing Body and the Vice-Chancellor shall also be the Member Secretary. The term of Governing Body shall be prescribed by the Statutes.
