Section 9(2) in Life Insurance Corporation of India Class III and Class IV Employees (Revision of Terms and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1985
(2)Employees who are allotted staff quarters shall not be entitled to any house rent allowance but they shall pay the appropriate licence fee for the staff quartern in their possession:Provided that employees who have been allotted staff quarters before the 1st day of April, 1983, shall continue to receive the house rent allowance paid to them as on the date preceding the date of commencement of this rule.
