Section 23(2) in The Securities and Exchange Board Of India (Delisting of Equity Shares) Regulations, 2009
(2)[] [Renumbered '(1)' by Notification No. SEBI/LAD-NRO/GN/2018/46, dated 14.11.2018 (w.e.f. 10.6.2009).] Where equity shares of a company are delisted by a recognised stock exchange under this Chapter, the recognised stock exchange shall appoint an independent valuer or valuers who shall determine the fair value of the delisted equity shares.
