3. The University.
- [(1) The chancellor and the existing Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jodhpur and the existing members of the Senate, Syndicate and Academic Council of the University and all persons who may hereafter become such officers or members of the aforesaid bodies of the University shall, so long as they continue to be such officers or members, constitute a body corporate by the name of Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur] [Substituted by Rajasthan 1 of 1992, w.e.f. 3.3.1992.].(2)The University shall have perpetual succession and a common seal, and shall sue and be sued by the said name.
