This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India praying to quash the impugned order dated 28.4.12 vide Annx-C passed by the V Addl. Prl. Family Court, Bangalore in Crl.Misc.No.244/10.

This petition coming on for preliminary hearing this day, the Court made the following:-

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the writ petition with liberty to apply before the family court for cancellation/reduction of maintenance awarded in favour of the wife on the ground that he has come across the evidence, after the impugned order, showing that she is working and is now having sufficient income to maintain herself.
2. The petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed. It is made clear, while passing this order, I have not examined the merits of the case.
