Section 33(1) in The Bihar and Orissa Excise Act, 1915
(1)Objections to any proposal contained in any list prepared under Section 30 may be received, at any time prior to, the date prescribed by Rule made in this behalf, under Section 89, Clause (j), from-(a)persons paying municipal rates and residing in any municipality to which such proposal relates, or (if any such municipality is divided into wards) in the ward to which such proposal relates or in any ward adjoining such ward; or >(b)(in the case of shops not situated in any municipality) persons owning or occupying land, or residing in the vicinity of the shop to which such proposal relates; or(c)the District Board; or(d)the District Magistrate.
