RAJESH BINDAL, J.
This order will dispose of three petitions bearing C.W.P Nos. 3270, 3272 and 3318 of 2017.
The challenge in the present petitions is to the award passed by the Land Acquisition Tribunal, determining compensation on account of acquisition of land where notification under Section 36 of the Punjab Town Improvement Act, 1922 (for short 'the Act') was issued on 14.07.2000, which was followed by notification dated 20.06.2001 issued under Section 42 of the Act.
The Land Acquisition Collector passed award on 19.06.2003. The petitioners being dissatisfied with the award of the Collector raised a dispute and the matter was referred to the Tribunal, who vide his award dated 23.03.2006 assessed the compensation. Aggrieved against the award of the Tribunal, the petitioner preferred C.W.P No. 12214 of 2007 in this Court, which was disposed of on 09.05.2014 remanding the matters back.

C.W.P No. 3270 of 2017 (O&M) -2
The land owners were given opportunity to lead further evidence in support of their claim for higher compensation. Thereafter, the matter was decided again by the Tribunal reiterating the earlier award as the petitioners failed to produce any further evidence after the cases were remanded back by this Court. Once, the petitioner had not led any further evidence to enable the Tribunal to reassess the compensation, we do not find any error in the compensation assessed. There is no merit in the present petitions. The same are, accordingly dismissed.
