Section 7(a) in The Bihar Civil Service (Executive Branch) and the Bihar Junior Civil Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1951
(a)A candidate must be of sound health, good physique and active habits and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties of a member of the Bihar Civil Service (Executive Branch) and the Bihar Junior Civil Service. A candidate who is found after examination by a Medical Board not to satisfy these requirements will not be selected for appointment.
