Section 7(iv) in The Actuaries (Election To The Council) Rules, 2008
(iv)the holding of the office of the President of the Society under, sub-section (1) of section 17 of the Act prior to the commencement of the Act shall also not be taken into account for the purpose of attracting disqualification under clause (d) of the proviso.
