48. Fisheries and Ocean Studies Extension Education Programme.
(1)The Fisheries and Ocean Studies Extension Education Programme shall be developed under the guidance of the Director of Extension.(2)Subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, the University shall make available useful information based on the findings of research to the fish farmers, fishermen and entrepreneurs through the concerned Government Department.(3)The Government shall transfer to the University necessary personnel, facilities and funds to conduct educational activities in accordance with a plan mutually agreed upon between the University and the Government.
