Section 61(1) in The Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994
(1)The provisions of any law fixing a period of limitation for civil or revenue proceedings shall be deemed to be amended to the extent that the period of limitation of any suit triable by a Gram Panchayat shall not exceed three years.
