Section 7(4)(iv) in Employees' State Insurance (Punjab Medical Benefit) Rules, 1953

(iv)A member of the Allocation committee shall cease to be a member of the Committee if he fails to attend three consecutive meetings thereof, provided that his membership may be restored by the State Government on its being satisfied as to the unavoidable nature of the circumstances which led to his non-attendance.
