The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the non-applicants is seeking time to file affidavit in reply. It is noted that the non-applicants are served in November, 2018 or in the first week of December, 2018. Applications under section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 are required to be decided expeditiously. 2 In this view of the matter, the non-applicants are directed to file their affidavit in reply within a week. 3 If the affidavit in reply is not filed within a week, the application shall be considered on its own merits in the absence of affidavit in reply.
