Section 36(1) in The West Bengal Standards Of Weights And Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1958
(1)If the person committing an offence punishable under this Act is a company, the company and every director, .manager, secretary or agent of the company; unless such director, manager, secretary or agent proves that the offence was committed without his knowledge or consent, shall be deemed to be guilty of the offence and shall be liable to be proceeded against and punished.
