The CPIO has not provided the desired information.
Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing:
The following were present Appellant: Mr. Balbir Singh through VC Respondent: Mr. S P Taneja CPIO's representative through VC It is seen that information sought in all the appeals relates to office records and hence they are heard together and disposed of by a common order.
The appellant stated that he has not been provided complete information. He further stated that even the Commission's orders dated 26/02/2016 have not been properly implemented. He alleged that though the respondent agree for inspection before the Commission but later on do not act on their assurance. The CPIO's representative stated that they have mailed the information to the appellant and if he does not receive the same within 2/3 days they will again provide a copy. He further stated that the Commission should fix a time and date for inspection and the appellant will be allowed to peruse all relevant records and take whatever information/documents he needs. The appellant agreed.
Decision Notice:
As agreed by the CPIO's representative he should permit the appellant to inspect all relevant records relating to the foresaid RTI applications and also those relating the orders passed by the Commission (in the appellant's matter) on 26/02/2016. The inspection should be allowed in the CPIO's office on 12/04/2016 from 03.00 PM onwards. During the inspection the appellant should be allowed to take photocopies of documents, free of cost, upto 100 pages. The FAA/ Sr.GM ITPC should ensure implementation of the order.
The appeals are disposed of accordingly.
