- The Managers of a certified school not established by the [State] [Substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government may decline to receive any child or youthful offender proposed to be sent to them in pursuance of this Act, but when they have once accepted any such child or youthful offender, they shall be deemed to have undertaken to teach, train, lodge, clothe and feed him during the whole period for which he is liable to be detained in the school, or until the withdrawal or resignation of the certificate of the school.
