Section 21(xxxvii) in The North Bengal University Act, 1981
(xxxvii)to exercise general supervision over the Faculty Councils for postgraduate studies and the Councils for undergraduate studies and give such directions to those Councils for the due discharge of their respective duties as it may consider necessary.
