Section 16(1) in West Bengal College Service Commission Act, 2012
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in this Act or in any other law for the time being in force, or in any contract, customs or usages to the contrary, it shall be the duty of the Commission to hold and conduct an Eligibility test at the State level in Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, Commerce, Education, Physical Education, Foreign Languages, Law, Journalism and Mass Communications and Music and such other subject or subjects as may be prescribed in consultation with the Commission.
