Section 2(35) in The West Bengal Co-Operative Societies Act, 1983
(35)"primary co-operative agricultural credit society" means a co-operative society, the primary object of which is to create fund for lending short-term crop loan [,medium-term loan] [Words inserted by West Bengal Act 27 of 1989.] and other agricultural inputs to its members.[Explanation.- In this clause,-(a)"short-term" shall mean a term not exceeding one year, and(b)"medium-term" shall mean a term not less than three years and not more than five years;]
