Section 10(1) in The Energy Conservation Building Code Rules, 2018
(1)The use of any energy conservation measures or method or design or construction not specifically specified under these rules shall not be prevented by the authority having jurisdiction if such energy conservation measures or method or design or construction is found to be satisfactory by the Energy Conservation Building Code Compliant Technical Grievance Redressal Committee and such energy conservation measures or method or design or construction assist the owner in optimizing the energy performance index ratio in the use of energy on its occupancy.
