An application for registration of an inland [mechanically propelled vessel] [Substituted by Act 35 of 1977, Section 5, for " steam-vessel" (w.e.f. 1.5.1978)] shall be made by the owner or master of the vessel in such form and shall contain such particulars as may be prescribed and shall be accompanied by a copy of the certificate of survey in force issued in respect of the vessel.
