The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that inspite of specific direction of this Court directing the respondent to put him on notice, it has not been done and the instead the respondent has passed an order dated 30.10.2015 in Na.Ka.No.766/2015/A1, rejecting the representation of the petitioner and also filed an additional affidavit dated 23.11.2015 to that effect.

Per contra, Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent, after taking note of all the relevant materials, has passed a detailed order rejecting his request and the remedy open to the petitioner, if any, is to file an appeal to the Sub-Collector, Thiruvallur, within 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of the order dated 30.10.2015.
3. In the light of the above facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that the remedy open to the petitioner, if any, is to challenge the order of the respondent dated 30.10.2015 in accordance with law.
4. Therefore, this Contempt Petition is closed subject to the above observations. Consequently, connected sub-application is also closed.
