Section 16(1) in West Bengal Green University Act, 2017
(1)The Registrar shall be a whole-time officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Governing Board on the recommendation of a Committee consisting of the Vice-Chancellor as Chairman, a nominee of the Chancellor, two nominees of the Governing Board and a nominee of the State Government, and on such terms and conditions, as may be prescribed.
