Section 40(7) in The Tamil Nadu Building and Construction Workers (Conditions of Employment and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1984
(7)Tire provisions of the Inter-state Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979 (Central Act 30 of 1979) shall apply to, or in relation to, building and construction workers, as they apply to in relation to 'workmen' within the meaning of that Act.
