Section 1 in Uttar Pradesh Rural Housing Board Act, 1983
1. Short title, extend and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Rural Housing Board Act, 1983.(2)It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh, excluding areas and lands owned, requisitioned or taken on lease by the Central Government for the purpose of defence.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf.
