Section 241(1) in The M.P. Municipal Corporation Act, 1956
(1)The Commissioner may, by notice, require the owner of any building or land in any street to put up and keep in good condition proper troughs and pipes for receiving and carrying water and sullage from the land or building and for discharging the same so as not to cause inconvenience to person passing along with street.
