- No new public street made, or declared as such, under this Chapter, shall be less than ten meters in width including the footpath: Provided that such width may be reduced by the Municipality in the case of class 'C' municipal area or a transitional area, for reasons to be recorded in writing, but the width shall in no case be less than six meters.
